What are chia seeds?

Salvia hispanica, or the chia plant, is a species in the mint family that is native to Central America. The seeds of this herb are known as “chia seeds” and they have gained quite a bit of popularity in recent years.

CINNAMON RAISINS CHIA PUDDING RECIPE: 320 calories (1 servings)

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your favorite milk)
2 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. chopped raisins

PREPARATION
Combine all ingredients in a jar and stir well. Refrigerate overnight & store up to 5 days.
And top with apple slices and raisins and walnuts.
